<p style="text-align: center;">For the design of transistor amplifiers there is a new software available: <em>TransistorAmp</em>. With TransistorAmp you are able to create your individual transistor amplifier with a few mouse clicks. TransistorAmp is  freeware.</p>
<p>The tool TransistorAmp has a very easy to use user interface. You start every design with the menu item &#8220;New  Amplifier&#8221;. In the pull-down-menu you choose your desired circuit. You can choose between,</p>

<li>common-base-circuit</li>
<li>common-emitter-circuit</li>
<li>common-collector-circuit</li>
</ul>
<p>After that you get a dialog, where you have to put in all parameters of your amplifier.</p>
<p>For the selection of the transistor type you can click on the button &#8220;Select transistor type from list&#8221;,  and you will see a list of all supported transistor types. TransistorAmp supports some thousand transistor types. Select  your desired transistor type there and click on OK. The selected transistor type will then be displayed in the dialog.</p>

The input  data, which have given will be restored to the input dialog, and you can change one or more parameters.</p>
<p>When you are satisfied with the result, you can click on &#8220;Result &#8211;  Save&#8221;. TransistorAmp saves all data which is displayed in the result window to a  HTML-file. You can open this file with a browser (e.g. Firefox or  Internet Explorer),  inspect it and print it.</p>

<p><strong>TinyCAD</strong> has some features to make it easier for you to put your circuit   diagrams on your own web-site or adding them to your Word or other   documents.</p>
<p><em>Turn your circuit diagrams in to PNG images</em></p>
<p>Although you might want to put the original drawing on your web-site, with a link to <strong>TinyCAD</strong> for download, this isn’t normally what people want to do.</p>
<p>A better solution is to convert your circuit digrams in to bitmap. <strong>TinyCAD</strong> supports outputing ciruits diagrams as PNG files. If you are not   familar with PNG files, they are the open-source equivilent of GIFs. All   modern web browsers and operating systems support PNG files.</p>
<p>You can create PNG files directly from the file menu in <strong>TinyCAD</strong>, these files can be exported in colour or black and white.<br />
Copy &amp; Paste your circuit diagrams in to Word or Powerpoint</p>
<p>You can clearly paste the PNG file in to Word too. However, <strong>TinyCAD</strong> also supports normal Windows’ Copy &amp; Paste.</p>
<p>Any part of the circuit diagram that is selected and then Copy’ed can   then be pasted in to any of the Office applications. Instead of being   pasted as a bitmap, the image is pasted as a vector graphic, making it   higher quality for use in printed material.</p>
<p><em>Convert your drawings in to Acrobat (pdf) files</em></p>
<p>If you want your circuit diagrams as PDF files, then you need an extra program that converts the print output from <strong>TinyCAD</strong>.</p>
<p>There is an open source PDF creator that you can get by following the   links in the “Link” section above. This program produces excellent PDF   files from not only <strong>TinyCAD</strong> but most Windows programs.<br />

Using <strong>TinyCAD</strong> to create PCBs in an EDA system</em></p>
<p>There’s no point in drawing a circuit diagram unless you can actually build it!</p>
<p><strong>TinyCAD</strong> can be used to make circuit diagrams that can be fed in to a PCB layout   program. After the you have created your drawing, you can use TinyCAD’s design rules checker to see if there are any problem which will prevent it from being used by a PCB layout program.</p>
<p><strong>TinyCAD</strong> supports several different PCB net-list formats. Simply export the net-list from <strong>TinyCAD</strong> and import it into another PCB layout program. If you are looking for a   free PCB layout program then try FreePCB. It is linked to in the links   page.</p>
<p>You can export from <strong>TinyCAD</strong> in Protel, PADS, Eagle SCR format.</p>

<p>You may use <strong>TinyCAD</strong> to create Spice simulation files. <strong>TinyCAD</strong> incorporates a powerful Spice template engine, which enables you to add   Spice output to any symbol. Although there is no formal Spice symbol   library supplied with <strong>TinyCAD</strong> there are some examples of Spice libraries available from the Yahoo forum.</p>
<p>The Spice template engine is capable of generating Spice files for   almost any Spice engine, there are plently of free engines available.   The template engine also supports the use of conditional statements, so   that advanced simulation systems are possible.</p>

Using such an interactive designer software, we have the main advantage and the opportunity of removing all the possible design errors even before proceeding to the expensive component manufacturing and assembly. From the educational point of view, our application, Logic Circuit Designer, is aimed to help both those students and users, studying computer architecture or more specifically, digital logic circuits. This product is a simulator for logic circuits, allowing the student to better visualize and understand how a logic circuit works, by enabling him to build whatever logic circuit he wants, and visually simulate its operation. Based on a friendly user interface, the student can interact with its logic circuit, flip switches, change the input data, and watch the output data changes for sequential models. We are sure that this tool will be of great help to any student who has interest in this field, and enable him to better understand the logic circuit design process<strong> </strong></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">This design routine assists design engineers in choosing the most appropriate core material and size for a number of different current transformer (CT) topologies.  Namely, the following three CT styles are included:</p>

<p><strong>* &#8220;Traditional&#8221; (often line frequency) Current Transformers</strong> &#8211; &#8220;Traditional&#8221; Current Transformers fall into a general category known as instrument transformers. Their main purpose is to produce, from the primary current, a proportional secondary current that can easily be measured or used to control various circuits. The primary winding is connected in series with the source current to be measured, while the secondary winding is normally connected to a meter, relay, or a burden resistor to develop a low level voltage that is amplified for control purposes.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>* Hall Effect Current Transformers</strong> -  The characteristics of a Hall Effect generator make it suitable for detector elements in magnetometers, clamp-on DC-AC ammeters, transducers, magnetic field variation meters, and wattmeters.<br />
In the specific case of current sensors, the Hall generator/sensor is placed within air gap of a magnetic core. The core is usually a toroid, and features a soft magnetic material (such as ferrite, Molypermalloy powder, or Kool Mu®). An initial core size is chosen to support the central primary conductor, and a gap is estimated to accommodate not only the thickness of the Hall Sensor itself, but also to ensure that the correct flux field will be set up within the core material at the sensor&#8217;s peak current to be detected.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>* SMPS Current Transformers </strong>- Current Transformers for SMPS designs are used to sense current levels within the control loop of the power supply. The current transformer in this scheme (usually made using a ferrite toroid) helps to track the current in the control circuit&#8217;s feedback loop. This current is then used to determine how the future behavior of the SMPS will be modified. For instance, the duty cycle (for pulse width modulated systems) might be altered for future switching cycles.</p>
